Thanks! I like it a lot too. I had to remix the Song of Healing, it's such a beautiful song and when you "heal" others in MM, the story is always so sad. (Mikau's last gig with the band, Darunia's I-can't-remember-anymore, and my favorite, Pamela's father's salvation from Gibdo-hood)

I just had to make an upbeat remix and call it Redemption.

Pretty darn hard. I ran out of magic once and had to resort to my sword (death attempt), then I just simply ran into too many of them (another death attempt), and then I just ran into Mothula too many times (yet another death attempt). But I also have news for you...

Yep. That's a part of the rule list now: only use the flute to get to Level 6: Misery Mire. And also I just got through the Skull Woods today and it was sooooo hard! I'm so used to having the Bombos Medallion by then as well as three bottles of blue potion. It was a nightmare... I can only imagine how bad the Thieves Hideout will be... I'll bet by the time I beat the game I'll have died at least 100 times. Ten (or more) for each dungeon beyond the Eastern Palace. Then probably about thirty times in the overworld.

You know actually I just realized it isn't possible to go through the gamee without the Flute. If you want to get to the Misery Mire then you need the Flute. That's the only time it's actually required.

Well acually that's why I'm testing it, to see if it's playable. But so far to my knowledge you don't need the flute to get into Turtle Rock. In fact I even vaguely remember getting to Turtle Rock without the use of the Flute.

Well, you've got a good point there, I suppose. Though I'll probably refrain from using the Fierce Deity Mask. That would be a little cheap, even in a three heart challenge.

I think I remember hearing that before, but I'd completely forgotten. I never managed to get all the Gorons, so that must be why I could never get Biggoron to ask for my shield. Thanks again!

I'll bet. I picked WW and TP as my first runs because they were the easiest (for me at least), and I intended to do OoT and MM last. MM will be really difficult. >.<

So how are those three heart challenges going? I've completed one for Wind Waker, and I'm still working on Twilight Princess and Minish Cap.

If I'm not mistaken, it is a different game from FSA... but I hear it wasn't all that great. I also believe it's impossible to beat without at least one other person. Unlike FSA it requires multiplayer... -.-

Fair enough. It is a pretty odd game in the series, and it's so different one might almost not consider it a Zelda game.

Even if you consider it, the way it's presented (on the same cart as ALttP) it's a bit more like a minigame. FSA was much more of a real game, IMO.

Regarding the orginal ALttP, it's no big deal really. There were only a few changes. The biggest was the Ice Palace; I'm pretty sure the other dungeons are mostly if not completely the same. I just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know and were a stickler for playing the unaltered classics.

Ooh, but what about Four Swords on the ALttP GBA cart? I didn't see that on your list.

Cool. Though just so you know, the GBA version of ALttP is modified. They redesigned a few parts. Among the changes is a remixed Ice Palace and making it so you no longer need the Magic Cape to get a particular Heart Piece. If you want to play the original version, you can't play the game on GBA. Not sure if you care about all that, though.

Zelda is my favorite series, so most if not all of the games stand atop my list of favorite games, but my list sorted from favorite to least favorite is:

1. MM
2. MC
3. OoT
4. ALttP
5. TP
6. WW

I didn't add Master's Quest, though, and that's only of the games I've played.
