Evermore jumps in front of Zed and slams his fist into the bear's nose. The bear tumbles over but then gets up. Unfortunately this knocked Evermore onto his back.

"Yeah, I don't want to fight that thing.. Evermore adds.

"Alright, well I don't have much, just a few days worth of food." Evermore says as he sharpenes a knife.

There was a giant piece of stone that had been torn from the ground, covered in ancient monster guts.

"To castle town..." Evermore says, helping Zed to his feet.

Evermore stands back with a guilty smirk. He hadn't seen a good old fashioned prank for quite some time. He was also surprised by this girl's eagerness to zap poor Zed.

Evermore embarrassedly notices that he's talking to a sleeping Zed. He shakes him on the shoulder a little. "Hey, we gotta keep going now."

Evermore notices Zed's obvious fatigue. He had been traveling like this for years and didn't consider what affect it would have on the others. He offers Zed his canteen, "Hey, you alright?"

"Oh how did you do that?" Evermore asks tiredly. He pulls a pebble from the ground and uses sleight of hand to make it disappear. "Like that?"

Evermore trudges on next to Zed. "I wonder if I'll be able to restock on ammo at the next village we come by." He says thoughtfully, as if pondering the meaning of life and the extent of the universe.

"Gah!!" Evermore yells and stabs the dragon in the eye with a knife, that should teach him a lesson. The dragon recoiled in pain and flies off. Evermore has a feeling that this won't be the last time they saw that dragon. "Are you all right?" Evermore asks Zed.

Evermore suddenly remembered that HE had already returned.

"Yeah well, that was a spectacular greeting" Evermore remarks as he wipes dragon blood off his shoulder.

"Not again!!!!!!" Evermore shouts while frantically firing his gun at the dragon. He doesn't know why this dragon found him so tasty or why that elf kept attacking them but now he knew that the elf was hostile. He was probably about to kill Zed at that moment. He retrieves a knife and slams it...

Evermore puts away his rifle and follows Zed. He's beginning to feel more like a bodyguard than a companion, but he liked Zed, even though he seemed devious, and he didn't mind helping people, that is what he signed up for after all.

"Alright zed, I think whatever it was is gone." Evermore confirms. "Yeah come on, let's get into town."
