Anly is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Anly runs the Lakeside Stable, found just west of Lake Floria in Faron. He runs both the Stable and the Inn. When talking to Anly from outside, Link can take a horse, board a horse, or register a new horse.[1] From the inside of the stable, Link can talk to Anly to rent out a bed. Anly offers two types of beds, a regular bed for 20 rupees, and a Soft Bed for 40 rupees.[2]
Tears of the Kingdom
Anly runs the stable over at Lakeside Stable. When Link first arrives, Anly informs Link that the stable receives orders directly from Princess Zelda herself. At her direction, the stable opened up a sanctuary for a new animal species, right across the ravine. He mentions that visitors can't easily reach it, but with a telescope, they can get a glimpse of the animal species.[3]
The first time Link arrives at the stable, Anly will award Link with a Pony Point.[4] He'll offer to help out, asking Link if he wants to register a horse, or if he wants to take one out for a ride.[5]
Anly comments that it is almost constantly raining near the stable, but it does occasionally let up. When it's raining, the well that is just behind the stable is too full to go inside, but when things calm down, the water subsides and Anly can give it a good scrub.[6]
A Picture for Lakeside Stable
- Main article: A Picture for Lakeside Stable
After completing one of the Regional Phenomena, as well as acquiring the Camera as part of the Camera Work in the Depths quest, Link can examine the empty picture frame on the wall in the stable. Anly will mention that The Stable Association asked them to hang the signs up to get ready for paintings to be put up.[7]
Anly wants to get a picture of Floria Falls. He mentinos that the best place to get a picture is from the Floria Bridge, but because it is almost always raining, it's rare to see it on a clear day. He would take the picture himself, but he can't leave the stable unattended. He tasks Link with bringing him a picture so that he can paint a copy.[8] This will begin the A Picture for Lakeside Stable quest.
When it is not raining during the daytime, Link can take a picture of the Floria Falls on a clear day by standing on the Floria Bridge. Even if it is a little foggy, as long as there are no clouds and it isn't raining, the picture should be okay. After returning to Lakeside Stable, he can show this picture to Anly. The picture is exactly what Anly wanted and thinks it will make travelers feel glad they made the long trip. He asks Link if he can paint a copy of it.[9] As a thanks for bringing him the picture to paint, Anly will reward Link with a Pony Point, as well as some Tough Tomato Seafood Soup.[10][11][12]

- ↑ "I spent a while mulling over what painting could be worthy of such a nice frame. Here's my thought. When it's clear out—which, granted, isn't often around these parts—you can get a beautiful view of Floria Falls. The best place to see it is Floria Bridge outside the stable. Wouldn't the view from there make a nice painting? Problem is, I can't leave the stable unattended, and even if I could, it's rare that the weather is clear enough. But maybe there's some other way to get a panoramic view of Floria Falls on a clear day. If someone brought me a picture, for instance, then I'd be able to paint a copy and hang that up in the frame." — Anly, Tears of the Kingdom
- ↑ "Huh? Did you bring me a picture of Floria Falls on a clear day?! Can I see it? Aha! This is exactly the picture I asked for! This would really liven up the look around here. Is it OK if I paint a copy? Thank you! Ah, the falls really pack a punch. No matter how many times I see them, I'm always moved beyond words. That picture will make travelers glad they made the long, slippery trip to Faron! Now, just give me a moment to whip up a reproduction. Haha, don't worry! I'm quite good at this, I promise." — Anly, Tears of the Kingdom
- ↑ "I knew it! It's perfect for this stable! And it's all thanks to you, Link. Stunning, isn't it? That said, if you ever want me to hang a different picture of Floria Falls on a clear day, I'll be happy to oblige. Just show me the new picture. I'll paint up a copy and display it instead! To show my appreciation, I'm giving you one Pony Point." — Anly, Tears of the Kingdom

- ↑ "Thank you for a truly splendid picture. Please, feel free to use the stable whenever you want." — Anly, Tears of the Kingdom
