A soft bed is one of the many different beds in Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom and Echoes of Wisdom.
Breath of the Wild
"The soft bed is a special bed we're proud to offer here at the stable. It costs more than the regular bed, but you'll wake up more energized."
A soft bed can be found at certain Inns and Stables. Whereas a night in a regular bed costs 20 rupees and fills all Link's heart containers; a night in a soft bed costs 40 rupees, and adds one yellow Temporary Heart on top of that.
Tears of the Kingdom
"Take it from me—a soft bed is way more comfy than a regular one. You'll wake up ready to walk halfway across Hyrule. There's nothing like it for the stamina a traveler needs."
A soft bed can be found in Kara Kara Bazaar Inn, Shuteye Inn, and Ton Pu Inn - Stables now use Malanya Beds instead.
Sleeping in one now costs 30 rupees. Using them still fully restores Link's heart containers and adds one Temporary Heart.
Echoes of Wisdom
"It's easy to just close your eyes and drift away on this soft, well-maintained bed."
Two soft beds can be found in the Tough Mango Plant Lab, located in the Oasis in the Gerudo Desert, apparently dating from its days as a rest stop for "Gerudo soldiers and dancers". If Zelda rests in one, neither Tourma nor the Gerudo Soldier present react to it at all. Resting in one recovers hearts more quickly than an Old Bed, but not as quickly as Zelda's Bed.
Zelda can scan one with the Tri Rod to create a Soft Bed Echo she can use anywhere.
