Shards of Farosh's Horn, or simply Farosh's Horn, are a material found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
"This shard fell off the golden spirit Farosh. It's said the horn is the crystallized power of electricity itself. It sells for a lot, but there must be some other use for it."
Shards of Farosh's Horn can be obtained by shooting the electric dragon Farosh with an arrow in the horn. Its primary use is to enhance the Cap of the Wild, the Barbarian Armor, and the Champion's Tunic, but they can also be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 300 Rupees each, or, alternatively, can be traded to Kilton in return for 150 Mon. As with all dragons, you must remember that you can only harvest one part from Farosh every in-game day.
The horn can also be used to increase the timer on different cooked meals to 30 minutes. For example, 5 Mighty Bananas gives 3+ attack power for 4 minutes 15 seconds. Instead, use 4 bananas and one horn to get 3+ attack power for 30 minutes.
Tears of the Kingdom
The pieces knocked off Farosh's horns are now simply called "Farosh's Horn", and are longer and more pointed in Breath of the Wild. In addition to their uses from the previous game, they can be fused to weapons with a fuse attack power of 26, and electrify the weapon they are fused to.
A new dragon part from hitting Farosh can be obtained after ten minutes, when its horns glow brightly again. This is not differentiated between horn, scales, talon or fang - as soon as the dragon is shot or hit, no more parts can be gained this way until the timer expires.
