Zonaite is a material found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
"An unusual mineral that has many purposes. Ancients extracted energy from it and refined it for the crafting of weapons and armor."
The Zonai society had flourished by processing the substance in a furnace into other materials, including Zonai Charges and Crystallized Charges. The Mining Cave used to have large resources of Zonaite, but is yielding less and less over time. It can be found as standard chunks of zonaite, or as Large Zonaite.
Zonaite can be mined from Zonaite Deposits, which can be found in the Mining Cave on the Great Sky Island, as well throughout the Depths of Hyrule - both as Zonaite Deposits, and dropped by Little Frox & gloom-wreathed enemies.
Forge Constructs refine it into Zonai Charges and Crystallized Charges, and will exchange already-processed materials for fresh zonaite. The Smithing Construct in the Spirit Temple refines it into Mighty Zonaite Swords, Mighty Zonaite Longswords, Mighty Zonaite Spears, Mighty Zonaite Shields and Zonaite Bows.
If Link does not have all the parts required to Autobuild a schematic or previous build from the history, he can create substitute parts for some or all of the build out of zonaite. These parts cannot be separated from the build as a whole, and evaporate if the build is broken.
