Rock Salt is a cooking ingredient found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
"Crystallized salt from the ancient sea commonly used to season meals. Cannot be eaten in this form."
Rock Salts can be obtained by mining various Ore Deposits found across Hyrule, which can typically be found in caves and by cliffsides. Rock Salt can be cooked with other ingredients to spice up certain Recipes. While it does not have effects of its own, adding rock salt will extend the duration of another ingredient's stat-boosting effects.
Alternatively, they can be sold to shop-vendors like Beedle for 2 Rupees each.
Age of Calamity
