Whirly Swirly Things is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
With Korok Forest back to normal, if spoken to Kula will ask Link for a picture of a "whirly water circle" - i.e., a whirlpool. If Link brings him a picture, he will then ask for a "big swirly sand circle" - i.e., a sinkhole - picture too. After bringing this, he will thank him and give him five Endura Carrots as a reward.
Requirements
Free Korok Forest from gloom by defeating the Gloom Spawn and Phantom Ganon at the bottom of the Deku Tree Chasm - technically, this is part of the Trail of the Master Sword Main Quest, but can be done long before triggering the quest itself. The Purah Pad camera must also have been unlocked by Robbie in the Camera Work in the Depths Main Quest.
Walkthrough
- Talk to Kula in Korok Forest after clearing away the gloom. He is just outside the entrance to the Deku Tree marketplace, at (0420, 2132, 0143). He'll ask for a photo of a water whirlpool.
- There are a number of options for whirlpools. One is the entry to Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave, located at (0126, -2501, -0089). You can get a picture from one of the unnamed sky islands above, from the Bridge of Hylia, or any nearby vantage point.
- Show Kula the photo. He'll then ask for a photo of a sand sinkhole.
- Again, there are multiple options for sinkholes, mostly in Gerudo Desert. The sinkhole entries to the Ancient Altar Ruins at ( -2536, -3626, -0048) are easy to access from Siwakama Shrine. Climb up on a nearby pillar and take a photo.
- Return to Kula again and show the photo. He'll reward you with 5xEndura Carrots.
