Standard Apple Pie can be made in a lit Cooking Pot using Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar, Goat Butter and Apple. Adding an ingredient with the "Sneaky" effect - Blue Nightshade, Sneaky River Snail, Silent Shroom, Stealthfin Trout or Silent Princess - as the fifth ingredient before cooking upgrades the result to Sneaky Apple Pie, granting a temporary stealth boost in addition to restoring a variable number of hearts. Cooking under a Blood Moon may increase this effect.

Eating the meal with its basic recipe will grant a "low-level stealth boost", as it is not possible with a single active ingredient to raise it to a "mid-level defense boost".
