Hey all, I've attempted at my Art Shop, but... I failed. However, I have found a skill with Userbars so here is some of my work:

Josie's Userbar.jpg

Linkanon Ninja Zora Userbar.jpg

BakerGuy's Userbar.jpg

I also take requests so here's the requirements:

Text: What you want your userbar to say.
Picture(s): What picture(s) do you want to the left (or right)? (Maximum: 2 pictures per userbar)
Colors: Must choose two, they will blend together as shown above.
Direction: The two colors can be vertical (stacked) or horizontal (side-by-side)
Pattern (Optional): Either have circles, grid, or triangles in the background.
Text Colors (Optional): What colors you want the text to be (choose two, one for outline.)
Border (Optional): Either a 3D or dotted border around the userbar, you can also choose a color.

Alrighty, so there's my Userbars so start requesting today!

Hey ZH #2, do you use GIMP to make your userbars? Your rendering could be better. If you use the lasso tool and zoom in, you can select the image, invert the selection, and then delete (making sure you have an Alpha Channel). That makes it so you don't have the white pixels around your renders. Also, you don't have to draw all of images in the Userbar. Find images online! And when resizing images, make sure the image is being EVENLY re-sized. Otherwise you'll end up with an image that's too tall or too wide.

I only drew the Ninja Zora 'cause I couldn't find a picture of one

But what if an image is 278 x 154 pixels? Re-sizing that to 100 x 100 will make the image more tall than it is wide. If you're using GIMP, follow these directions:

Open a new GIMP file, for this one, I'm using Pikachu. Notice how the size of the image is 256x403, the same size as the image:
97resizetutorial1.png

Right click the layer and click "Scale Layer...":
93resizetutorial2.png

This menu should appear:
37resizetutorial3.png

Now, change the number CLOSEST TO AN EVEN NUMBER and take away about half:
37resizetutorial3.png
80resizetutorial35.png

Press "ENTER" on your keyboard and the other number should automatically re-size:
19resizetutorial4.png

Click "Scale" and...
56resizetutorial5.png

TA-DA!

Keep that in mind as you're re-sizing images... ;)
