Danny Carey's drum work is absolutely phenomenal. The rest of the members are all stellar of course, but Carey outdid himself on this record.

Edit: I also like the way it's mixed and engineered too. There is great music that's not mixed very well, but this is a great sounding record that's not compressed to hell and back. All of the dynamics are there.
