King Diamond being my second favorite artist of all time, this song is a masterpiece of riffs, heaviness, melody, composition, and lead work, and one song I wish I wrote.
The whole album is one of the masterpieces of heavy metal.

I like to listen to game music on loop when I'm writing to help set the mood. It's fun.
Good ol' Nevermore. Warrel Dane (RIP) was a great singer, but I love this song for how insane the instrumentation. Jeff Loomis is a monster. That chorus riff is absolutely gorgeous.
I think this might rank up in my list of best vocal performances I've heard. That chorus is quite huge! And that modulation in the chorus hook at the end is genius from a songwriting aspect. Fabulous!
Shouldn't be shocked though, Simone has a voice as gorgeous as herself, really.
