Where Did Navi Go?

I always thought she went to help the baby deku tree.

Yeah, I would have thought she returned to the budding Great Deku Tree to be reassigned to a new Kokiri.

Maybe Navi just got lost in the lost woods or maybe even ended up somewhere in Termina.

Well, fairies were given to the Kokiri, children of the forest, and since Link is actually a hylian, he isn't entitled to her, so once he had successfully completed his mission in OOT, he wasn't allowed to be with her any more? idk, beats me.. haha

Maybe back to the forest, since Link isn't allowed to have her anymore and isn't allowed to return to the Kokiri Village.
