During school in second grade in the computer lab. We went on educational "gaming" sites for like an hour a day and I fell in love. I remember getting in trouble for looking random things up on internet explorer instead of playing the games. That must have been back around 2006, give or take a year.
AOL in like 1995 at peoples houses. Regularly at my friends house in 1997, he had two computers, and blazing fast 28.8k modems. Used to play Starcraft 1 / Diablo 1 on them, **** even before battle.net.
when I was around 10 in 2007-ish
I started to work around trying to use my brother's computer, earliest things I rememeber doing was looking up cheat codes for games, mostly grand theft auto vice city
I started using the internet when Napster was a big deal and was a free file sharing service, so around 1996 or 1997. I still remember the email virus hoax about a game called Elf Bowling and how it was going to wipe out the hard drive of every computer it was installed on because it had a virus set to go off Christmas Day.
My first time in my memory is when I was 11 and binge watching everything made by Smosh and PeanutButterGamer. I still watch one of those channels to this very day, 6 years later. Y'all can probably guess who it is.
Well over a decade ago. I was on forums and **** in like 2006, I believe we upgraded straight from 95 to ME right around when it came out so we've had internet since before 2000. Mom worked for a telecommunications company. Saw my first porn site when I still thought girls were icky.
When I was 9 in 1996. Dial-up of course at 28.8 kbps! I remember visiting the Nickelodeon website, going to the Club Nintendo magazine website from Latin America (I'm originally from Chile, but I've been in the US for 2 years now.)
When I was 9, but my parents were very suspicious of the Internet (with good reason, I suppose) so everything I did was monitored. That was in the early 2000s.
