lol. everybody always has OoT on their mind.

the best way i can think of to beat a redead is hit them with something(boomerang, arrow, bomb) then quickly attack with your sword while its slightly and temperarily dazed

If you have the mirror shield, go to the light and point your mirror to the Redead. If not, then jump attack the Redead. The Redead may scream, but you will not be paralyzed. If you are paralyzed, wait for the Link to stop freezing and run up to the Redead and attack.

Bombs are helpful. Stay out of range of their sight and toss some bombs. Three bombs will kill them. If they do freeze you mash buttons to unfreeze before they attack you and mash the B button until you kill them.

The person who said Sun Song wasn't too far off. Do NOT shoot them with arrows whatsoever. They do absolutely nothing but make this disgusting muck noise. Bombs tend to not work...the only thing that will hurt them is your sword. Believe me, this is confir,ed. There is no way to attack them from far off. Also, the Song of Passing, received from Tott on any night, will stun them, like the Song of Sun or whatever in OoT. Then run up behind them and slash away and they die. Repeat if neccessary. The best way to kill it is to have it scream come up to you and once you regain control, L target it backflip away and when its slowly walking back to its original position stab it or jump attack it. It will be stunned and not turn around quickly keep slashing it from behind it always works
