What Makes One a True Zelda Fan?

I'd say having played all the Zelda titles you're able to (for me it would be the 3D titles) and even after finishing them, you give it another go.

Completing every game and stating it so everywhere doesn't really entitle people to call themselves a true fan. It's something that just occurs and shows if they have a passion for it - otherwise it's just bragging rights. Even if people don't 100% a game, they can still be a fan of it and love it.

I think that a true Zelda fan would be someone who buys every Zelda game, joins almost every Zelda fan site, and likes all the links, ( toon Lin, TP Link, young link, adult link,).

I think to become a true zelda fan is to enjoy the games, not just for something to do.
