how did the TP back story happen before OoT? i fail to see your logic there.

Ganondorf was supposedly a friend of the kings at the beginning of OoT so why would he have been excetued (or why would the royal family attempt to execute him) before OoT when the two kids see him in the castle.

by your logic, that would mean that OoT took place DURING TP because in the backstory, ganondorf is sent to the twilight realm...

i have no idea where you got that idea from.

No one knows where they are, which is why the thread was made. My question is why would the Kokiri need to be turned into monkeys? That dosen't make any sense if there were no physical changes to the environment in which they lived.

The fact that the area around the Deku Tree/ Forest temple now being a canyon, and the fact that the main room you see the monkeys in has a huge hole in the ground, and as we all know monkeys climb better than children. That's where he can get evidence for that idea, from the environment.

Don't be rude in your posts Midna. The idea isn't stupid even though you don't agree with it.

I don't agree with it either personally but I can see where you could make a hint towards it. Basically, there isn't enough evidence to support that the Kokiri became the monkeys. If Nintendo wanted us to know that, then they would have given us hints towards it in some sort of game text or dialogue, such as how they did in Wind Waker. The fact that the Kokiri and the Deku Tree are never mentioned in the entire game probably means that the producers didn't want to use the idea anymore, or at least for this title.

Simple answer: We don't know. We don't know because it isn't important. For all we know, the Great Deku tree could have packed its bags and hitched a ride to another forest. They don't figure into the plot at all, so its a non-issue.

well, in OoT, they were children in a forest. In WW thery are sort of... human-plant-childern, capable of flying through the seas. So I think it is safe to say they have a great evolving/adapting hability. So in lack of evidence, my guess is they evolve into something more fitting to the current state of the world they live in. Perhaps even into trees and such.
