This mysterious set of footwear allows you to, as the name so eloquently puts it, "hover," when you step out over a ledge for a few brief moments. After that, it's a free fall to your doom. This is great to cross over big distances that are too far to jump. Unfortunately, wearing these things makes you float on everything, including the floor, so it's just like running on ice! Still a cool addition though...

I like the Hover Boots. You can walk on air, and that's cool I guess. The boots all have their pros and cons though, but I'm being biased. I get the fondest memories of trying to create new moves with the Hover Boots like "aerial Din's Fire", "Bombchu Suicide", and "Aerial Sword Spin"...*sigh* good times.
