Four Swords Adventures What an Underrated Game!

May 11, 2011
Just beat 4 swords adventures.... I thought this game was brilliant. Sure, it had a completely different formula to the regular zelda games, but man, for me it worked and was so much fun! And I think it's safe to say that it's a million times better than 4 swords.

I'm just wondering why 4 swords adventures is not very popular really.... I mean, I loved it. Great throwback to ALTTP, great music, and it also included the side-scrolling bits like link's awakening which I loved, including some mario enemies!

This game totally exceeded my expectations. I played 4 swords (anniversary edition) and thought it was so weak, therefore my expectations for FSA were low... boy was I wrong. I loved everything about this game (except for the repetitiveness of fighting shadow link about a million times).

The game was probably too easy, but I still had tonnes of fun playing it. I particularly loved the tower of winds level.

Does anyone else agree with me that FSA is a very underrated game?

EDIT: Just wanted to add, I've only played this game on single player. But still loved it nonetheless.

I think that it is underrated, but it isn't quite the caliber of other zelda games. The multiplayer is what the games strongest area is and I think that it is really fun that way, even though I only ever played it with 2. I'll try to do 4 sometime.

Even though it's a good game, the main reason I would say it's underrated is for the hole multiplayer. It's really hard to get 4 friends together to play it without them getting bored or just not wanting to play it. Yes, the single player mode is fun, but still not as much fun as having friends to play it with. Overall, it's still a good game.
