webs Is a good host and one of the most user friendly and widely known In my opinion, you can use custom pages of you own. I believe it requires some tweeking of the settings. Haven't been on webs in a long while but I was always satisfied with them.
I've used 110MB hosting as well which is also a good free host.

Just be careful and make sure you research the free web host. Some can be crafty and delete your website then replace it with ads if it gets a certain amount of hits.

You can also try Weebly.com It is free and you can upload unlimited amount of pics from your pc and can create multiple pages. What I don't like is when you make changes in the layout is when you want to use a pic in the logo it puts the pic on a spot you don't want to
