"Alright. Just be careful."
Rachel makes her way out, having to dodge quickly aside as a clicker lurches into the hall from seemingly no where. She catches her breath. Too loud. The clicker screeches, alerting all the others. They're blind, though.
They claw at the empty air, searching for their prey, clicking and screeching furiously all the while.
Rachel wishes she'd held on to her katana. These creatures required too many shots to the head to take down, not with a bow. A gun would work, but then the others would be on her in seconds, sensitive to sound as they were. All she can do is stay close to cover, moving to avoid shuffling feet, and praying that the creatures don't have the sense to search for prey on the ground.
