Kinda depends what is stressing me out, but usually it has to do with noise, crowded spaces, work, or anxiety. Prevention is better than relief to me, but not always possible.
Solving the first two in some circumstances is pretty easy. It includes leaving, finding a corner or spot others aren't crowded at, or in the cases where those aren't good options, I've found putting one earbud or maybe two in and setting whatever I'm listening to helps quite a lot. Lately, with these new work events, I cannot do that, so I've started focusing on blocking out the noise. I'm really not great at it, and the being crowded doesn't help much so rats.
Still assuming I'm stressed and prevention measures aren't helping, I find taking long baths does a lot particularly if I dim the lights a bit and have candles.
Reading is always a great source of stress relief.
I have like a list of movies in my head that I watch when I'm stressed out or anxious that really help very often.
Silly as it sounds, washing my hair, like really properly taking my time on it is usually pretty good for relieving stress.
A lot of my stress stems from overthinking and inability to shut brain off, so I've found a few youtubers that are stupid, but charming enough to help me just focus on their nonsense. Music sometimes helps with this, but not if I'm trying to avoid noise.
And when all else is failing me, I'll turn to writing because that almost always helps me settle down.
Cooking something can also be a good way to not go postal. Like really taking my time and focusing on every bit of whatever I'm making and being meticulous is a great way to quiet the mind.
