Yes, there are story elements to it.
Yes, there is a hit system.
It is a delicate balance that results in the best game in existence. ^^

What story?! Everyone is in a pointless battle for medallions that do nothing without that sage's help?

The fact that we enter transitions from location to location is an example of a small story element.
The fact that we only have hits numberwise is an example of a small RPG element.
Enough said and done. ^^

Walking/teleporting from place to place is not a story, its barely a sentence...

Unfortunately, I'm allies with the Gorons and Zoras.
That's about half of the world. Maybe you guys should ally the Kokiri and Gerudo.

Before the game:
HoT became allies with the Gorons while I chose the Zoras (co-leaders we are)

The game:
I tried to kill you for your race's medallion.(Please don't take it personally :puppy:, I simply want the medallion. )
Ember is discussing the story aspect of the game
HoT was angry at me, I got him back.

Now, that's pretty much it.
*Hands DM a bottle of Lon Lon milk to compensate for the attack*
