it is definetly possible, but not without something to help you. if you had the guide and did no sidequests, it might be possible. also, he might've cheated or lied.

Well in hero mode i beat half the game in two sittings each like 5 hours so yeah if u know every nook and cranny of zelda

Yeah its definitely possible. I beat the game in 35 hours on my first play through. I feel like I could do it in under 24 hours now that I know how to do everything.
