It's been almost a day since a splinter decided to jam itself underneath the fingernail of my left index finger. A piece of that splinter is still trapped under my fingernail, and it's in too deep to remove. And so, it's been causing me constant pain, and the slightest pressure on that finger causes more pain. I can't even type with that finger right now because of this. [
