The "Way" Between Hyrule and Termina

OK, so I've been on these forums for over 1.5 years now and this is my very first post in the Theory section, yay!

First of all, I do think that the statement that Termina is an entirely different dimension form Hyrule is the most probable one. However, I'm always interested in actual geographical connections, so this is more of a "what if" scenario, assuming that Hyrule and Termina are actually connected geographically and existing in the very same "4D" environment (for the fellow math geeks: i.e. three spatial and one temporal dimension(s), à la (x,y,z,t) or (r,φ,θ,t)).
I traced back the way Link came from the Lost Woods in the very beginning of the game and it turned out that he came from the south or facing north in the Epona chase scene:

So this makes me think that Termina might actually be somewhere northeast of OoT Hyrule. I composed some maps of the two "worlds" found on ZeldaWiki. I marked my personal additions in red:

The red line marks Link's way through the "overworld" Lost Woods while the blue line marks his way through the "Termina Underground" after he fell down and became a Deku.

I know that this has some flaws, especially the coast line of Termina doesn't match quite well with Hyrule as long as there isn't a very sharp west turn in that coastline (so that the sea starts right north of Hyrule castle - after all we don't know what's there, so who knows?).
However I think that it isn't entirely impossible. Even if they speak of a "parallel world" or "alternate dimension" when referring to Termina, that might just be a misconception of the Hyrulean and Terminian people because they never actually got there through the confusing Lost Woods so they might as well see the respective "other world" as something "mystical" while it could possibly be closer than they think it is. The fact that the Dekus are mainly found on both ends of the "connection" between Hyrule and Termina (Kokiri Forest/Lost Woods vs Southern Swamp) adds to that.
In the end credits of MM we can see Link riding Epona towards the west, therefore towards the possible direction of Hyrule, or more specifically, Hyrule Castle. Maybe he goes to the Great Bay, embarks on a ship (provided by the Termina Gerudos after they finally got the message from their Hyrule counterparts that they've accepted Link) right there which directly sails to the north of Hyrule Castle where he possibly meets Zelda/Navi again(?)

Yeah I know this is mostly made up by me and that most probably Hyrule and Termina are really only different dimensions but it's fun speculating about the "more complicated" version.
