I learned about the Kakariko Cuccos retaliating the super hard way .. I was almost dead when I did it the first time assuming they'd just keep running away no matter how many times I hit one with my sword. So when I got hit by the first one that attacks I died LOL. Talk about an embarrassing death.

Oh yeah, another one. So you know in TP the really expensive store in Castle Town, and the guy won't let you in b/c your shoes are dirty? So I got this brilliant idea that if I wore the iron boots, he'd let me in. Unfortunately, you can't put them on in Castle Town. So I walked out of Castle Town, put on the iron boots, and walked back in. I took me like an hour to reach the store, and he still said my boots were dirty! It took me a long time before I figured out there was a guy right next to the store that shines your shoes for you.
Oh my gosh, that is soo hilarouse! I went to that store mefore. Then I helped Malo open shop in hyrule town not knowing he replaced them. I tryed to tell people how a depressing and expensive store this is to tell them what I think of a real life store. I went in with them there, then the whacky music and the dancing started... That was a little embarasing too. But not as much as the german.

I don't know if it's something I did, or just a glitch, but I was on that escort mission part in Twilight Princess. I got all the way to the little bridge in Kakariko Gorge, when Link fell off Epona. Okay, no big deal. I tried to make Link get back on Epona, he ended up jumping OVER her and off the bridge. 0_0 I don't know how he did it. But he did. He just leaped over her...to his death.

And there was another time where I put on the Iron Boots in quicksand. Not smart. I forgot to switch out the Iron Boots for the clawshot.

And there was that time I put on the Iron Boots when I fell in the City in the Sky. Also not that smart.

When I first got to the Spirit Temple and realized I couldn't go any further as an adult, I teleported out of the temple instead of walking outside to learn the song from Sheik, so I had to come back across the desert. And during the final battle of OOT, I spent a lot of time trying to kill Ganon with the Biggoron Sword, until I talked to Zelda and realized I had to use the Master Sword.

First post here.... I would have to say that after my 15 year journey in the world of zelda, the most embarassing thing happened to me last night. I was loading up OoT for another run through, I got up to where I beat ghoma and had to go to the castle and talk to zelda, when I (bad memory) thought for some reason I had to go through the lost woods to get to Hyrule Field.... So I'm wandering through the lost woods for literally 20 minutes, trying every path, going up to the sacred forest meadow, shooting seeds at the skullkids, trying everything.... so I did a thing I usually don't do on normal runthroughs (especially since I've beaten OoT 3 times) I went to gamefaqs and got a guide and saw that the exit was just outside of the lost woods..

I felt like a moron -_-

The most embarrassing thing... Happened yesterday. You know how to do the items on Epona glitch in OoT, and you must go and fight Gannon, and it takes forever? Well, I did the glitch, and then like, five min after I started, I made my game freeze. So I had to totally re-do the glitch! It took like a half-hour! UGH!

On Phantom Hourglass I had got quite far on my first go on the game, I hadn't saved it and then my sister tripped over the chrger wire causing it to break and fly out of the wall with such force that is closed the DS screen with my fingers inside and my finger hit the power button and turned it off completely. It was an original DS, so the power button it in the top left of the bottom screen.

I was 10 and I started playing twilight princess. When I encountered shadow beasts, I just turned off the game and took a nap. There, I dreamed I WAS STILL FIGHTING THEM AND GOT OUT OF BED AND STARTED PUNCHING AND KICKING NOTHING! When I finally woke up, my family looked at me like I was on drugs XD!

I remember that when I was playing OoT, when you first get in the Deku Tree, I saw that webbing on the floor. I spent 45 minutes rolling over top of it and doing all this other stuff, not realizing that I has to get the slingshot. Then, climb up a wall and jump off a cliff type thing.

Probably when I was in Jabu Jabu's Belly, I died three times fighting the Big Octo before figuring out what to do

I did a really dumb thing the other day in the Temple of Time in Twilight Princess. I was doing really, really good, and I got all the way to the boss door. And then I was like, "hey, why isn't the door opening?"

...I didn't get the Big Key. Stupid stupid stupid.

Not really "while playing Zelda", per se, buuuut...

I used to play World of Warcraft a lot, but had to quit for a few months for financial reasons. I decided to dust off my old Zelda collection, and put it through its paces. After a few months of playing Zelda, I became so accustomed to the controls and mechanics, that when I finally got back onto WoW, I was messed up. So much so, I made my character jump off a high cliff, figuring he'd survive as long as he rolled when he landed.

He couldn't roll when he landed, nor did he have a fairy in a bottle.
