The Chibi Adventures: Rebirth {u-RP} (Sign-Ups and Rules) [OPEN]
(WARNING: BORING LECTURE AHEAD)
This is not your ordinary Role Play. In this RP, there isn't a set goal, and things can go any direction. This I like to call an "unchained Role Play," or u-RP. This particular u-RP has come and gone quite a few times on DGN, rapidly gaining interest, then declining as things got out of hand. For this go-around, I am going to create a few new rules.
Rules:
1. No using copyrighted characters.
OCs only, please.
2. PM me for big events in the RP.
If you want to have something significant happen in the RP, PM me about it first and wait for my approval. This means things like characters dying, sudden plot twists, etc., etc. If it's not significant, whatever happens, happens.
3. No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus.
Your character should not be perfect in any way. No aspect of his/her/its abilities, personality, or (to some extent) appearance, should be utterly and completely flawless.
4. No God Powers.
This somewhat ties in with number three. A character should not be able to raise his, her, or its hand and have the planet implode. Magical abilities may be gained in the RP, but no new character can come in fireballs blazing.
5. Please refrain from making things too weird.
Please don't get into the RP and have potatoes raining from the sky. Things like that make the whole thing cave in.
6. The Game thread is CLOSED and must have NO NEW POSTS between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. This is to ensure that everybody can get caught up with what's going on.

Gender: Male
Appearance
Backstory: As an infant, he was found on an altar, when the priests of a church heard something crash inside the chapel and went to investigate. He had fallen through the roof; clutched in his hand were an odd heart-shaped pendant and a note saying, "Take care of him. His name is Kouki Minoru." He was raised there, but eventually went on his own to learn who he was.
Notes: Quiet, and slightly shy. The pendant he was found with (which he wears around his neck) sometimes glows, for no apparent reason.

Age:16-18
Gender: Male
Aperance: Short brownish hair; longer than a bowl cut, with the back down to the ball and socket joint of his neck. Eyes are hazel. Needs glasses due to heavy eye strain. Has an oval-shaped face. Wears loose fitting clothes; usually a sweatshirt, jeans and a pair of boots.
Backstory: He comes from a family that owns an all-natural medicine-making business. He developed his family's usual obsession with natural medicines. He keeps a notebook with him, filled with drawings of plants, animals, and other organisms. It has many notes that are barely legible. He is OCD-like in that he feels the need to record every tiny observation he makes, even social observations, and then relate them to different plants and animals.
Notes: May be on the higher-functioning end of the Autism Spectrum.

Age: 18
Gender: Boy
Appearance: He wears a dark green hoodie sweater, with dark blue jeans, and black and green shoes. He has Blonde hair, and green eyes.
Backstory: He is an amnesiac, and doesn't remember. He awoke in a forest with no memories. He found a wallet near him, which had the name Verdis sowed into it in green thread. He adopted the name, and currently wonders to find his past.
Notes: He is very skilled with weapons, though he doesn't know why...

Name: Tekina Mashiro
Age: 15
Gender: Girl
Appearance: here
Backstory: Tekina has always been the quiet type. She likes drawing, but normally keeps it a secret to people. Tekina is a good artist, but always puts up her pictures in her room. The only time her talent shows is when she has a class or event she's in dealing with art. The only ones Tekina will let watch her draw are her good friends, and she doesn't have many real friends. The ones Tekina does have just want her for one reason, be it getting a girl/boyfriend or getting attention.
Notes: Tekina may have a cold and silent outside, but inside she is warm and really kind.

Age :17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long red hair, somewhat contained by a green bandanna. Black jeans,distressed by use. Green shirt over a lighter long-sleeve one. Black windbreaker and brown combat boots. Pale skin, golden eyes flecked with green. Her only jewelry is a silver bracelet.
Back story:Born in the countryside, her mother died in childbirth with her sister Lenyrin. Her father is a buissnesman, often gone on work tips, so Meli has to support the family at times. She tries to contain Lenin's adventurous spirit, but yearns for adventure herself. Often wanders the woods or city streets alone, but wishes someone would come with her.
Notes: She's beautiful, but impulsive and gives in to anger easily. She's very persuasive, prefers to fight or just run from problems. Cares about Lenyrin more than anything, resents her old friends for leaving her but not her father.

Appearance: Dark tattered hair, covered in dirt and wears filthy clothes. Small, but in shape. Wears a dark blue shirt and black jacket. Blue jeans.
Backstory: Raised by his brother, an abusive drunk, he grew up poor and forced to bring in the money. However he couldn't find a job so he turned to pick-pocketing. His crimes grew to armed robbery (as in an alley with a knife) occasionally. His brother drunk himself to death so Liam slept on the streets and after a time discovered underground fights(underground meaning not widely known). So he currently makes his money stealing and fighting.
Notes: He is fast and silent. Never likes to stay in one spot and does his best to stay out of contact with a person after meeting them once
