How to get Majora's Mask as a usable item in MM. Requirements: A copy of OoT with at least one file completed. A copy of MM with at least one file completed. Skill in switching N64 carts very fast.
1. Put in your copy of OoT and open the completed file.
2. As young Link, warp to the sacred grove.
3. Pull out your Slingshot and fire exactly 49 seeds into the entrance to the Forest Temple.
4. On the 49th shot, you'll here the noise of a crystal switch being activated. Note: It must be only 49, not 48 or 50.
5. A magical staircase will appear so you can enter. Note: The effects will not be the same if you enter by glitching and/or hacking.
6. There will be no enemies in the first room. Proceed to the elevator room.
7. Five Stalfos will appear kill them with anything EXCEPT your sword. If you do, all your data will be deleted and you cannot save any more data on that cart.
8. The elevator will rise. Go down and enter into the boss room, the door will be unlocked.
9. Go to the top and then to the middle of the room.
10. Play the Song of Time 324,798 times without stopping.
11. When you're done, save your game and turn off your N64 immediately.
12. In less than half a second, stop 'n swop the OoT cart for the MM cart, then power on.
13. One of the files will have an Ocarina icon on it. Open the file. Note: The game must be saved via Song of Time. If it is an Owl File, you must repeat all the steps.
14. A man will approach you and will tell you to give Majora's Mask to him and not the Happy Mask Salesman.
15. He will give you a special item to use on Skullkid.
16. Skip ahead until it's Midnight on the Final Day.
17. Go up the Clock Tower and encounter Skullkid.
18. Use the item, and Skullkid will go motionless and the Mask will fall of his face.
19. Run up and grab the mask.
20. Play the Song of Time.
21. Present the Mask to the man, and he'll decide to let you keep it.
Congratulations, you can now use Majora's Mask for yourself. It will grant you limitless power; you can do whatever you want. Note: If you enter the Clock Tower with the Mask on, the Happy Mask Salesman will challenge you to a battle. If you except, he'll transform into a giant monster. Even using Majora's Mask, he's a pretty tough boss. Defeat him to reveal the secret ending to MM: Link will keep the mask, return to Hyrule, and then control it with an iron fist.

As you make a fool of yourself trying to do that, I sneak by and take the cookie!
