Nintendo has announced a free update to Super Mario Party today that will enable us to play online against friends!
I think this is a great feature (that honestly should have been there from the get go), hopefully it works smoothly!

Maybe we could try it out some time?

Finally. It seemed ludicrous that it could launch without proper online play. Might even pick it up now.

This is fantastic news! The lack of a true online experience was the number one turnoff for me so now I may actually purchase the game.

I was thinking "Cool, still probably not gonna get it"
Then I remembered that I actually have it
If that doesn't say something about the game I don't know what will

It's great that they got around to adding it. I haven't purchased a Mario Party game since Mario Party DS so perhaps it is time to jump back in again.

A very nice surprise coming from Ninty.

Long overdue, of course. I may consider picking it up (the last MP game I played was 8), although the price is a put off for me.

I wonder if Nintendo will update more older games because development of new games has slowed down due to the pandemic or if this is simply a one time thing. Regardless, it is a welcome change and makes me interested in picking up Super Mario Party.
