Here in the southern part of the US, we have two grocery stores that are exclusive to mostly southern states, Winn-Dixie and Publix. Winn Dixie is more of a country style grocery store and Publix is top quality, the type of place that richer people go to buy groceries. Both are a step up from the Walmart grocery section.

Winn-Dixie locations- Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama,

Publix- Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky

Then you have Sweetbay, another grocery store, but they were bought by the Winn-Dixie parent company and were converted into Winn-Dixies.

Amazingly, all three, Winn-Dixie, Publix, and Sweetbay, all started in Florida.

So what about you guys?

I saw those two stores while I was out of town, I think. Not quite the same, but I live near the Walmart headquarters and I've heard they're a thousand times nicer here than in the rest of the country as a result. They also sell guns here, I assumed every Walmart did but come to think of it, it could be a regional thing.

We in NWA have these awesome truck stops called Workman's, I've never been to a better travel stop in my life. I tried a couple Buc-ees for comparison and the food doesn't even come close, among other things.

A few Aussie chain restaurants come to mind such as Oporto, Red Rooster, Grill'd (my favourite), Guzman y Gomez, Mad Mex, Harry's Cafe de Wheels, and El Jannah.

We also have Hungry Jack's, but that's just Burger King with a different name because another business already had the rights to the name by the time they launched here.
