I've already pre-ordered a copy of Skyward Sword (well, I've put a small down payment on it...), so I'd like to get it the day it releases. I don't know if that'll be possible, considering what went on with Ocarina of Time 3D. Now imagine how many people will want SS compared to OoT 3D. I would like to get SS the very first day, but it does somewhat depend on when it actually releases. If it does release in September on either a Saturday or Sunday, I will certainly wait outside my local Gamestop through the night. Same if it releases in December, during my holiday break. However, if SS releases some time during the week while I have school, chances are I will not be able to get to a store early enough, and I'll probably be stuck for a while. It's also possible that I could finish paying off my pre-order and have it mailed to me, although, from what I've heard went on with mail orders of OoT 3D, I more then likely will not get it the very first day.
I certainly would like to buy SS immediately, but, as I said, that might not be feasible. I will try to get my hands on a copy as soon as possible, simply because I know I would be wringing my hands over SS every second I didn't have it. As far as what you should do, well, you have to decide if SS is your biggest priority. If so, you may want to consider pre-ordering it. If not, you could probably wait until Christmas, or buy something else first and then get SS.
