What kind of SQ's would you like to see in SwS?

Ones like the Golden Skulltella and Biggoron Sword or something like in MM where you get mask if Nintendo puts masks in SwS.

Deffinetly the traditional collecting side-quests, like the gold skulltullas or golden bugs. Also, I would love to see the return of Majora style sidequest, were you helped people with their problems.

A sidequest I really loved in Wind Waker was the Merchant Quest. It would be fun if something like that returned.

Not the bunnies. -.-

I personally loved the force gems in ST, where you could do things for people in exchange for the force gems. I found it really fun to run arround doing errands around the lands with my train. That may be because I like making others happy in real life, though. I also like the optional puzzles, I find them really fun to try and solve. Optional dungeons are also pretty fun. I think SS should possibly show some new side quests, maybe? But my favourite side quest of all time has to be the Kinstone pieces. I absolutely loved joining them with others and seeing what result came out of it. I loved the Kinstones, I would enjoy seeing them in SS, even thought I highly doubt they will make an appearance.

I would like if they made the npc's a big side quest, like the bombers notebook did in MM, you can run around and help people with their problems, some reward you with items(bomb, arrow upgrades, bottles, deeds) others give you a map to find a secret dungeon. :D

I like your idea Zorth and 1 I really want to see now that you and others mention it.

To what Meego7 said and maybe the Force Gems would exactly like they did ST as teleport spots if remember correctly

I'd like to help people out a bit. Maybe an escort mission here or there. As long as the reward is worthwhile. An item upgrade, or a heart piece. None of that rupee crap that some side quests do sometimes -.-

I always hated just getting money for doing a SQ unless it was in MM then money fits.

I don't want to say.
I would like more sidequests that seem like a miniature conflict in themselves. That's something that Majora's Mask got right. It presented you with not one, but multiple miniature conflicts that needed to be solved. These added to the worth of the story, and strengthened your resolve to help the people even further.

To be honest, I hope and expect at least one Trading Sequence, an optional dungeon or two, a Cave of Ordeals sort of thing with an actually useful reward (seriously, Great Fairy Tears so late in the game? Why not a defense upgrade or something like that?), some NPC quests, and of course, the obligatory Collection Quest, hopefully with a decent reward this time around (because seriously, rupees in a game where you barely need money at all? By the point where it's obsolete? >_>).

I would love to see some more story based sidequests in the game. Clearly after a point rupees become mostly useless and some quests for items are great but that largely depends on the item. Sometimes it is mostly useless like the ice arrow, or is not nearly as useful since it does essentially the same thing as a previous item discovered in the game like the magic cape. But sidequests that resolve some more parts of the story or save certain NPC's that are not very important to the main quest add a little extra flavor to the game. At least to me they do, doing a few extra quests to same some otherwise less important extra NPC's add that little bit more of a sense of completion to the game. Plus they can go a long way to making the game feel a bit longer, and since it is not mandatory you can skip it the first time through to see the main story.

Fusing kinstones was a fun addition and led to many different outcomes from gaining heart pieces to opening up new area of the game. Majora's Mask also did a great job with sidequests that were not as important to the main storyline but did involve gaining a few interesting things like the other masks or resolved a smaller storyline among some NPC's. I am not sure how well this will work in SS since these revolve around a specific item present in those two games with masks and kinstones. I am almost certain we will see something like the gold skulltula/poe soul search quest since that appears to be becoming a tradition among console Zeldas. But if the game truly does revolve around sword spirits as we all believe at this point, then I would like to see some of that expanded a little bit more into some sidequests as well. Maybe you help the spirits of some other objects or have to collect parts to rebuild some ancient piece. Or simply collect them up over the course of the adventure for a specific individual or keep them in a location.

Like other have said, something along the lines of MM-style sidequests, where the NPCs play a larger role. I've never been a fan of sidequests, but MM must have done something right, because I actually enjoy doing (most of) the ones from that game. I figure that SS won't be layed out in quite the same way as MM, so this probably won't return, and if it does, it will be changed somehow, but it's still a thought.
Something I guess would be okay is the Gold Skulltulla, and the trading sequence, although I never liked them as much.
As long as the reward is a good one, and actually worth it, I'll probably try them.
