Last thing I saw was Fack Ju Göthe 2 (yes, that's the way it's spelled), and God did that suck. Disappointing because the first one is awesome, one of the best German movies I know.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 - 9.5/10
Quite the different Tarantino movie. I liked the first one quite a bit but I love this one quite a bit more. I appreciate how it doesn't go overboard with the gore like the first one did but I like how it kept its very stylized feel throughout the film. The action scenes were fantastic and there was a lot of excellent character development. Uma Thurman was fantastic in the movie along with the rest of the cast. The last 30 minutes are gripping, heart-pounding, and touching at the same time. The soundtrack is also notably excellent.

Not perfect but it was actually really really, good. Things go by a little faster than they do in the book as expected, but it generally does a really good job of staying true to the book while still being a great movie.

I saw this movie a few weeks back when I had family over, and well, it was pretty decent. I suppose my gripe with the movie is that at times, the plot became really hard to follow and/or it lost coherence along the way. Then again, I suppose that is the strength of the movie as well, given the fact the movie is full of espionage. The saving grace of this movie lies in the performances alone, especially with a cast that includes John Malkovich, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt, who may just be at his most hilarious! Overall, I'd give it another go if I can remain more focused, and I would recommend it for those looking for a few laughs!

Spectre: 9/10

I wasn't going into this movie expecting a lot, but I left excited that I had seen the best James Bond movie since Casino Royale. Excellent acting, I'm so glad Daniel Craig has come into the Bond character, even though it took him a while. The Bond girl is excellent and they did a good job not over-sexualizing her. Christoph Waltz' character is an awesome Bond villain and he was fantastic. The action scenes were incredible and the setpieces were stunning. My favorites were the train fight scene, the opening action scene, and the car chase scene. Overall, excellent movie. I only wish the soundtrack was a bit more memorable and that Christoph Waltz was actually in the middle of the movie. Other than that, I loved it and my Mom even said it was up there with Goldfinger for her favorites.

The Maze Runner/ Scorch Trials

I am incredibly disappointed in these film. While the books are not that great, they're certainly better than their adaptations to the big screen. My biggest gripe with the first movie is how poorly the world was built. Instead of creating a believable scenario, the movie spends a large portion of slowly revealing information that one would expect to be given immediately. It becomes frustrating rather quickly whenever Thomas (the protagonist) asks a question and every character around him acts like he's being a suspicious dick for wanting to know pertinent information.

The second was also bad, but for a different reason. This is the first yous see of the world and how a disease has destroyed the world. The movie substitutes the crazy sick people for zombie-esque creatures, making it very difficult to view them as people. I never got the sense that this disease has ruined the world.

The writers were far too heavily influenced by other YA movies being made (Divergent, Hunger Games). The Thomas and Ava Paige relationship, IMO, is far too reminiscent of the Tris - Jeaneane and Katniss - Snow relationships. Especially considering Ava Paige never made an appearance in the book series, her placement and personality in the films clearly is trying to replicate these other films.

2/10 Maze Runner
3/10 Scorch Trials

Into the Storm and I'll give it a 3/10. That movie was so cheesy and the effects were so dull. Yeah watching tornadoes is fun even if it's all computerized, but this was the biggest bullcrap I've ever seen. The storyline was not that great but definitely not good at all. It wasn't even entertaining.

And before this one, I've watched Alien again. The very first one. I've seen it already a few times but the last time was a very long time ago. The movie stays timeless and will always be one of the greatest Sci-fi movies ever. That one is still worth the 10/10.

Interesting. I really liked those films myself with The Maze runner being the strongest of the two in my eyes.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (Spoiler Free)
9.5/10
I went into this movie with a lot of doubts and worries, and left amazed and elated. The acting was amazing, the action was amazing, the music was amazing, pretty much the whole movie was amazing. If it's playing near you, do yourself a favor and go see it ASAP.

I am not what you would call a big Star Wars fan, but this movie was fantastic. I'm not sure how it would stack up if I went back and watched I-VI, but I loved this movie.

The Lion King 2-I give it a 6 1/2. They try to to go for the joke more, which ruins some scenes, reused falling scenes too much and it doesn't have the emotional kick or majesty the original Lion King does, but it has good songs, Zira is almost as intense as Scar and its still fun and beautiful.
