It is practically OCD, that I cannot have wallpaper that has icons overlapping the main detail. Even if I love it, it has to go. I also try to keep icons down to a minimum, and currently have: Adobe, Recycle Bin, AVG Free 8.0, McAfee Security Center, Mozilla FireFox, NEStopia, NES games folder, Emulator folder, Ares, GIMP 2, AIM 6, Skype, Windows Live Messanger, and QuickTime Player. There is simply something about having everything organized that makes your wallpaper stand out and look better than it did originally. At least, in my opinion.
