Pokemon Conquest

I pre-ordered the game and have yet to receive it because gamestop has yet to receive their initial shipment so I wont be playing until later this evening or tomorrow the latest.

Do any of you have the game be it the localized version or the japanese version and how is it?

I can't explain how awesome and epic Pokémon Conquest is! Kudos to Nintendo for making such an awesome game for the Pokémon series!

I havn't played Pokemon Conquest either. I heard it was a very amazing game. It scored a 9.0 in Nintendo Power, so it must be a very good game.

Well, I don't have it yet because of this interesting thing that happened in my town:

GameStop: Shipping error, we'll have it tomorrow
Target: We'll have it...eventually...
Best Buy: It comes out on the 26th!!

I'm looking forwards to it, though. I bet it's awesome!

So after a few days with it I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I however get this sense of being overwhelmed because of how much you must do in the game in terms of protecting yor kingdoms and delegating stuff to your warlords

After Colosseum and Snap, it's easily the best spin-off.

I'm curious if anyone bought this game. After watching the IGN review which called it the "most fully realized Pokemon spinoff in gaming history" with 100 hours of gameplay to boot, I may consider purchasing it. The summer drought of games is always terrible. Hopefully this is a true pearl in the wasteland.

Edit: After reading some posts in this thread, opinion seems overwhelmingly positive. Great!

OK. Walmart had ONLY FOUR COPIES. And they were NOT out and on display. They were hiding in a little back room. :

But anyways, CONQUEST IS AWESOME. Although the main stuff is post-game content. The post-game is EPIC. But a little difficult at times...

Still waiting for the game. It was out at Walmart, so I decided to order it online. Still hasn't arrived after a week or so, and I desperately need a new game.

I recommend it to anyone who loves Pokémon, strategy games, or a cross-over! Get it? Because Pokémon Conquest is a cross-over between Pokémon and Nobunaga's Ambition! :xd:
