I'm guessing it's considered inferior, because they're human, and Hylians are close to the gods. Remember how the Ordonians have to bring the sword?

Yeah, it seems a lot like a tribute from the conquered to the conquerer.

i think ordona isn't supposed to represent a past diety, but rather the founder of the ordona province. the ordona province if i'm correct is the only province in twilight princess that is truly safe from monsters. i'm thinking maybe when ganondorf was banished, all of his loyal minions rebelled and started terrorizing the people of each province, so somebody by the name of ordona created a new province so that everybody could be safe. upon death, the goddesses took a look at his life, and saw the extremely kind act he had done, and turned him into a deity so he could live forever.

Interesting theory, but Ordona has a very small role in TP. Nintendo doesn't have much of a background for Ordona.

If I remember correctly... Ordona area was not always part of Hyrule, more like a place the boarded Hyrule that became a part of it... So it has its own spread spirit/ protector... I guess

it would make sense if they r a conquered land, and that is why they are inferior to the hylians and take the swords to them
