Ocarina

I recently got an Ocarina and I'm not sure if I'm blowing into it right, does anyone have any advice on how to do it?

Take in air into your lungs, place your puckered lips to the mouthpiece of the ocarina and then slowly release the air from your lungs into the mouthpiece it should make a tooting sound.

I'd recommend looking up David Erick Ramos on Youtube. He's an ocarina player and he has many videos that tries to teach you how to play certain songs

If it sounds like an ocarina then whatever you're doing is probably fine.

If you want to get a sharp note, tonguing as you blow into the ocarina helps.

Also, getting the right volume of air and how to sustain just with your lungs.

It's much like singing, you learn how to belly-breathe, and using your ab muscles to push to get a steady stream of air.
