Nintendo Now Taking Ad Revenue from YouTube Let's Plays of Their Games

Well you consumers (well not CONSUMERS because LPs are free) will not be affectd by this, only the LPers will. Many LPers do it for their love of a franchise or agame, not for the money. Whether you agree with that or not is irrelevant; I just think that many LPers will stick around even if they aren't making money.

And how does Nintendo getting the profit take away that free advertising? The games are still being allowed to air.

Many YouTubers make a living off of their ad money, especially the popular LPers. So when you take away their money they are going to be pissed. (Of course this isn't smart on their part to rely on it, because when their account gets flagged they're screwed and forced to make a video begging to their subscribers). But all this is going to do is force them to do LPs of other games and avoid playing Nintendo games. This definitely isn't good for Nintendo, especially at a time where they are already getting a ton of hate. It's all just strange that Nintendo would do this, I'm sure they don't need the money.
