This is how I want to play all the games using the least amount of consoles possible, but in the best way, in an accessible way and without having to invest in retro gaming.
Singular Timeline:
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword- Wii U(wiiVC)
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - 3DS(Ambasador), Wii U(gbaVC)
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition- 3DS(Ambasador)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D -, 3DS(Remake)
Child Link Timeline:
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D - 3DS(Remake)
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD - Wii U(Remake)
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures- Wii (NGC Disk)
Adult Link Timeline:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD- Wii U(Remake)
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass- 3DS, Wii U(ndVC)
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks- 3DS, Wii U (ndsVC)
Fallen Hero Timeline:
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - New 3DS (snes VC), Snes Classic Edition
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - 3DS (gbcVC)
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - 3DS (gbcVC)
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX – 3DS (gbcVC)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - 3DS
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes – 3DS
The Legend of Zelda - 3DS(nesVC), Nes Classic Edition
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link -3DS (nesVC), Nes Classic Edition
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Wii U, Switch.
As you can see in my opinion you need a Nintendo 3ds for 3ds remakes and retro games (virtual console) for the best emulation, and nintendo wii U for home consoles for your HD remakes or if you want a tv experience.
Also includes the NES and Snes Classis Editions for the best emulation compared to the poor version of Wii U ports
