I have very tiny dirt marks on my nunchuck as well, it's pretty cool and I probably won't wash it off

I thought it was a permanent marker stain at first, but too much of it is purple. It has to be some kind of chemical reaction. If it is a chemical reaction, then there is probably no easy way to remove it. I guess I would try rubbing alcohol, but I would't expect much of a result.

Buy a new controller and sell that one on ebay for extra money. It is one of the weirdest things I have seen and must be worth something to someone.

Why would you want to change it?
Try vinegar, or bleach?
