I used to nickname all my pokemon but then I stopped because I was getting confused.

I have an Alakazam that I nicknamed Ganondorf, but in retrospect Voldemort would have made more sense.

For some reason I named my Poliwrath Link, and I still can't remember why it reminded me of the Link from Zelda.

And the reason I stopped nicknaming pokemon is because I once named a whole team "No Mercy." That got really confusing.

I called a Zigzagoon , ziggy
I named a wurmple , squirmlet
And I named a Bibarel, Squeaker ( I think it reminded me of a mouse )

I like to theme all of my Pokemon after ancient Greek gods and goddesses. Sometimes I dip into Norse, Roman or Egyption mythologies too. :3

On one of my games (I think ruby) they're all named after characters from broadway musicals (except for some are the actors, because I couldn't think of ones that began with a certain letter for the unknowns).
