Now that I have more freedom, I need to get to know heavy metal bands. Any recommends? I am Heavy Metal Virgin, so any help would be great.

Honestly, tech death is a brutal genre to start with, and it's easier to ease yourself into the more extreme genres.

For classic metal, I'd suggest my all time favorite Iron Maiden. They're awesome.

Here's one of my all time favorites from them.



King Diamond is a regular one I love too, and here's one of my favorites from him.

Bruce Dickinson is one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time. Still sounds great to this day because of how much he takes care of himself.
