That's not what this thread is about. It's about the supposed meaning of his name. "Bad."

That's interesting that Malo means "bad," but I don't actually think that was intentional.

They're throwbacks to older characters:

Malo - Malon - Marin
Talo - Talon - Tarin

That's how it works ^^

Malo is kind of weird to be sure, but so are a lot of other characters in the Zelda universe. What about Falbi and Fyer?

Now THOSE two are weird.

I found Malo entertaining despite his Mature personality.

Guess he was smarter than most people think of him. Afterall that's what's appealing. And...he made the Incredibly hypnotic, catchy, and annoyingly Messed up tune when you enter Malo Mart in Hyrule Castle Town.

"Malo mart! Malo Mart! Get your stuff at Malo Mart!"
