I heard some people call the movie “woke” because Peach was doing a lot in the movie and fighting along with Mario, and it makes me go like what? Just because she’s not a damsel like she is in most games it’s woke? Plus did people not remember Mario 2 or Super Princess Peach or 3D World?

I still am confused of the definition of woke is at this point, it just seems like a buzzword some people use for something they don’t like

eh

it would have been fixed pretty easily, it was probably just the product of the movie's brisk pacing due to the amount of content they threw in there. bowser just needed more interaction with the cast before the climax, so he wasnt just daydreaming about peach for most of the movie.

One of the best parts of the movie was easily the Donkey Kong versus Mario fight scene for me. Especially the fact that they played the DK rap as a reference

Watching a video on MKWii tracks and the guy pronounced SNES Ghost Valley as "sness" and it threw me off because my siblings and I say it as "sneeze"
