Knight Reference. Hint, Hint(?)

Hey, I was playing skyward sword, and a guy in the bazaar offered to buy me a drink. He then proceeded to tell link about his nephew becoming a knight. Then he says that Link should become a knight. I was just wondering about you guys and your thoughts. Is it hinting to a hidden feature? Am I missing anything? Please give any feedback that might be helpful.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Link does become a knight though. I think that dialogue was supposed to be ironic.

I used to wonder the same thing and constantly was checking back in with the guy, but eventually stopped cause he never did anything else, so as far as I know, no, the guy is just an annoying idiot.

The guy said his nephew was one of the rescue knights I think...nothing to theorize about, just dialogue.

Well i guess its good to hear it from others first, because i spent days flying around skyloft with the rescue knights, trying to 'get on their good side' with no result. and i probably would have gone for another few months! Well thanks anyways.
