Breath of the Wild for me as well.
It really changed my life as a gamer and as a person. To this day, it's still my favorite game ever, and it made me obsessed in a way that I never thought games would be capable of.

(also, special tip of the hat to Life is Strange, Undertale, Nier: Automata and Tetris Effect!)

I'll go with Yooka Laylee. I can't say it's a masterpiece or anything, but I sat out this generation for the most part, so there's not really much competition.

I think I'll throw in Smash Ultimate and Sonic Forces as honorable mentions.
