Ocarina of Time How Hard Did You Find OoT on Your First Time Through?

I was 6 when i first played it. It was easy up to the Forest Temple where I took a break for a couple of weeks, then I gritted my teeth and said "let's do this!" It wasnt a challenge after that.

I was 13 when it was released and played through with my younger brother. I didn't think the game was difficult as in easy to die or anything but some puzzles had me stumped for a while. We got stuck from time to time but overal it wasn't too difficult. I remember hearing from a friend that the Water Temple was very hard but actually got through it rather fast. In general I got stuck more outside dungeons than inside them. I might have used a guide here and there but I think it was mostly for finding Heart Pieces and Skelatullas (or whatever the spider things were called :P)

Playing through a 2nd time was much easier but still enjoyable

Well my first playthrough I was probably ten and didnt have any access to a walkthrough of any kind so I had to find everything on my own. Pretty hard at the time.

I'd say it wasn't easy but it definitely wasn't hard. I was 8 years old but had a decent amount of video game experience- I could beat Super Mario Bros. 3 and the first 2 Donkey Kong Country games fairly easily. OOT was the second Zelda game I played but the first I finished. I was stuck on Link's Awakening from the time I was 5 until I was about 9 just because I couldn't figure out how to light a torch in the 2nd dungeon (and it was really simple too). OOT on the other hand took me 3-4 weeks, and I never really got stuck for more than 15 minutes. I did use a guide in a couple places though so I'm not entirely sure if I would have beaten it so quickly anyway. Also it was a long time ago so I'm not entirely sure about anything except the fact that it took less than a month.

Back when I first played Ocarina of Time, I couldn't even get past the Deku Tree on my own. XP That was back when I didn't think I was at all very good at video games (except traditional RPGs because they work a bit more intellectually), so I would mostly watch my brothers (including my little brother, which is kind of sad xD) play games so I could get the story. There was a point eventually when I decided I was tired of being limited that way, and that was when I actually started playing games myself and actually trying. I feel like I should be able to say the first game I played at that point, but I honestly can't remember. It might have been Ocarina of Time, but I'm not exactly sure. It took me a while longer, until after I played Twilight Princess, that I decided I should actually figure things out on my own. Where I am now, Ocarina of Time, like a lot of games, is a piece of cake for me to complete. I rarely see the game over screen in any game.

I'd have to say, (excluding the time I was 7 and didn't actually get any farther than the Deku Tree) moderate. It wasn't exactly easy, nor was it hard. A few bosses posed a threat, but that was really it. I'd say, 6/10

My first time through took about 6 years. So yes. I started at 4, beat it around when i was 10. Now i find all zelda games short, because i played OoT nonstop for so long.

I played it when I was 5-ish with my bigger brother and Dad so I kinda saw them pass it, except when it was my turn, and from the parts I had to play it was really really really really difficult!

I found OoT pretty difficult the first time I played it. I used a walkthrough for most of the game, but went back later and replayed the game on my own.
