Yet another RPG I'm making. Here's the story:
It's been many years since the Hero of the Winds set off. The youngest generation of his time are now over 100 years of age, including his sister. Some people of the sea have set off long ago to live in New Hyrule, discovered by the Hero. But those days are over. Presently, the changes to the Great Sea have been drastic. First and foremost, most of the population no longer believe in the Gods and spirits. The Tower of the Gods had sunken beneath the seas long ago. It's legend is now only but a myth to most people. The temples were destroyed after the deluge that destroyed the sacred kingdom. Cyclos and Zephos have passed on from their physical forms, and dwell in the heavens as spirits. The great Valoo has lost power and strength in his spiritual form due to the lack of faith. He can no longer fly, and he resides inside Dragon Roost Cavern, unseen by most. His life draws to a close end, a tragedy for the Rito people. His death would make future generations unable to fly by the scales of the sky spirit. The Great Deku tree is withering, all because the gods are not believed. Humans are not allowed inside of Forest Haven, as they are no longer worthy. Windfall Island has grown in terms of civilization and population. It is considered the capitol of the human superpower. Outset Island has been occupied by the human alliance for years now, influencing a lack of faith. Peace has been in the alliance for years, until a unknown power took control in the Forsaken Fortress. The alliance is also struck with storms, and they are also attacked by monsters from the depths of the ocean. Most do not know why this is happening, but the spiritual know that it is a punishment for their sins. But they do not fear, because a prophecy reveals that a handful of spiritual heroes will lead the Great Sea to victory . . .

Description: Gender, physical build, hair style and color (Koroks excluded), eye color (Koroks excluded), height, age (14-50)
Weapons: Choose either melee, ranged, or magic
Personality: Describe character's traits
Backstory: Brief summary of character's life
Family: Optional
*Because Valoo's power is weakened, Ritos can no longer fly long distances (from Island to Island). They can, however, use minor flight powers, such as gliding and a high jump
**Kororks have evolved even more to be stronger and have more flexible limbs. Same Rito flight rules apply.
Remember, everyone has their own sailboat! Sailing is absolutely crucial!

Race: Human
Description: Male, strong build, long blonde hair, dark blue eyes, 6"1, 31
Weapons: Uses a long cutlass and a small war ax as a sidearm
Personality: Tough and brave, but has a soft, spiritual side.
Backstory: Born and raised on Windfall Island by non-faithful parents. He trained as an expert sailor. He wasn't spiritual at first, but one day he was out to sea and he ran into a violent storm. His boat smashed on a spire of rocks, and he was floating on driftwood, ready to drown. But then, he was saved by a mysterious spirit, who calmed the wind and brought hi back to land. Before he could thank it, it was gone. He then knew that the gods did exist.
Family: Non-believing mother and father. They shun him for believing in the gods.
