PART I: THE JINN WINS

The Desert decides.. who lives or dies.. it is a harsh wasteland that tests travelers. Beneath the harsh sun gold is of no value, and water is more precious than kingdoms.

Ekphra was man who had chosen to brave the arid realm, leaving the safety of Hylian fields and markets. He was seeking treasures, and it was said in the desert, that the Gerudo had buried some of finest trinkets of all. However nothing had gone as planned...

Figures of towering height began to give chase towards the Ruins of the Seven Heroines, they had great spears with trident blades, the long shafts gleaming in gold as they were in prusuit of the Voe. He had broken the written rule of the Gerudo, he had entered the Village as man. The crime of being male was hard for this Thief to contemplate, the buxom and well toned ladies with their sun darkened bodies were pleasing to the eye. How did they have more children? Was it a process akin to the Deku who just sprout? He tried not to laugh at this thought. Ekphra made for great columns in the sands, there was sacred ground which hasten his prusuers who probably though him being a man would defile it.

The Voe Thief made for one of the shrines and ducked behind stone, he heard the leader of these Towering Beauties say,
"Find him! This Voe Foe must be punished!"
He had to admit his mind went to forms of chastisement that to him were pleasing, he lingered there for a moment in thought before he crawled over to another one of Seven Shrines, candles flickering as the sun began to set. He looked at faces of these gods that the Mighty Women of the Desert worshiped. They were goddesses of course, it seemed to be a whole thing, no men allowed even in their faith. Then again in Hyrule they worshiped gods of female sex too, Nayru and Hylia. So maybe the Gerudo were right, being a man was some sort of sin...

One of the Gerudo Guards with her pitchfork nearly caught him, sweeping with her face scarf, was that to prevent him from gazing at her beauty? Or something more practical, to keep the wind blown sand from entering her mouth? He came to a shrine rather seperared from the others, its stones were darkened as if made of an altogether more menacing in their shapes, looking gnarled with points the shape of stakes. The goddess that had been in its center was collapsed, and there was opening among the stones like a grave robbed. No candles, and the Gerudo seemed to stay clear of it. Ekphra thought to himself it would be a good place to hold out. So he dropped down into the dark.

There in the blackness he listened, when a gust of wind seemed to come from deeper in this dark stone room. That was strange because it came not from opening, and he was underground. He heard the Gerudo Leader say, "He escaped! We must report back to the Chief." He began to chuckle a little, he had outwitted them, or so he thought. He had not considered why they avoided searching for him at this Eight and final shrine. It was then that he noticed a light, turning he squinting decided to follow the red light. Perhaps there was some opening that was feeding the light down, and maybe there was something of value down in this tomb. He made his way through was was some sort of corridor, and came to a crescent shape room, there was water along the walls feeding into a black fountain shaped square. Approaching he was curious as he looked at something floating deep beneath the surface, it appeared to be a onyx colored cube the circumfrance of a crown. He took a step into the waters, when suddenly the flow began to increase from the walls, he tried to get the cube and pull it free, sinking and then rising up to gasp as he drew air into his lungs, the water level was rising. He had only one more chance, and so he using his legs against a wall pushed and took the cube up on his knees and got it over the fountain wall. He then began to push it as the water level came to his chest, and then neck, whatever it was had triggered this boobytrap and so it must be valuable.

He tried pushing it with his feet when suddenly he felt himself and it drawn back by great pressure, as if an sunction and he and cube were drawn under and back to to fountain, and then.. above the surface there was an eruption of great water into geyser throwing Ekphra and the cube into air as he fell on sand dune and rolled for a while, leaving a trail of his body shape. The Cube landed on the sand and rather than sinking it levitated above the grains. The Thief voiding sand and water coughed, his chest heaving and his back trembling. Once he got his bearrings, he turned and saw the cube floating. Approaching the prize, he thought to himself aloud,
"Hmm.. magic.."
He had encountered strange treasures with powers, though he tended to believe magic was simply illusion, tricks played on the mind by well crafted technologies of the Sheikah. Grabbing the cube he tired to examine it, on it was markings which glowed gold. He tried to see if they were perhaps gold, though how to remove it from this stone work would require a smith. Taking it over to Ruins of twisted rock, he sat down and let out a great sigh, when he noticed the same markings over at base of felled statue. Taking the cube he headed over to it and saw ones that seemed to compliment the cube, and place for shape of the cube. Without a thought he placed it on the altar, and suddenly the cube exploded and threw on his back. The Voe was coughing as he found smoke rising from where the cube had stood and now in its black a lamp of finest gold. His eyes grew with the glow of greed,
"Holy Hylia! At last a break!"
He came to the lamp and taking it up, he was surprised by its weight.
"Oh this will fetch a fine price!"
As he examined it, his hands brushed against the lamp in a rubbing fashing, when suddenly a bolt of crimson and black lighting struck him and he was thrown against one of columns, and he dropped the lamp which levitated and pouring out of it was smoke of black, rising out of it was a towering figure, it had long hair of reddish orange that, dark skin like that of the Gerudo, and a fine dress of black with gold lining around the arms and waist. Though most striking of all was two great horns rising up from his forehead of deepest black and her eyes, she had four of them and they were glowing white in the flame of orange. She had a tail of coral red in shape of spear point. Ekphra looking at her began to tremble..
"At last! After eons I am free!"
She fixing her eyes on the One that had released her,
"You must be my Rab Bo Na!"
Ekphra replied with shudder,
"Uh.. uh.."
Levitating down with her bare feet she drew near to him,
"A Voe! So it has been a hundred years at least. A long sleep.. though I have had longer."
Ekphra coughed,
"I must be hallucinating from nearly drowning.."
She chuckled as she grabbed his cheek with her charcoal black claws,
"I can assure you I am very real."
He could not deny the tug and rather forceful jerk of her hand felt very real.
"My name is Merunia, you can call me Meru if you prefer and I have come to bring you pleasure.."
Ekphra's eye lids stretched so that the whites were fully clear,
"Uh.. pleasure?"
She opened her mouth and a long serpentine black tongue licked his cheek.
"Oh yes.. great pleasure."

PART II: THE PRICE OF PLEASURE

Meru floating up held her bare legs as if she was lying on a couch, he red tails swaying back and forth pendelum.
"I will grant you six pleasures.. though with each that you use a price will be enacted."
Ekphra took a deep breath, swallowing loudly.
"Uh.. and if I choose not to indulge in these pleasures?"
The Gerudo Demon made what sounded like a growl,
"Then I would be sent back to my confined dwelling.. I urge you not to do that."
Ekphra rubbed his clean shaven chin,
"These pleasures.. what are they?"
Meru smirked, he black tongue licking her fangs,
"They can be anything.. your deepest fantasies.. appetites.."
He felt himself sweating,
"And once I use all six you return to the lamp?"
She nodded, he long firery hair lapping as if moving like magma,
"Unless.. well I do not suspect you would do that.."
He looking at her intently,
"Do what?"
She moved back to an upright position, her skirt of gilded and black fabric swaying.
"Set me free.. if you lose your last pleasure to keep me in this world forever, then I would stay.. however, my powers would change.."
He found himself intrigued,
"How would they change?"
She looking at him in a more somber way,
"Depends on the way you wish, if I were to become mortal, my powers would be stripped save for perhaps my ability to retain my beauty.. but if you were to unleash me as a Destroyer, I would bring about The Calamity and end this world. Though you need not concern yourself with these choices.. no one in eons has used their pleasures to keep me here."
Her tone was rather rife with sorrow.

He finished her words,
"Because then the pleasures would cease.."
She looking at him with her four eyes nodded,
"Exactly.. you are astute for a Voe.. usually they do not inquire so earnestly."
Ekphra considered it a moment,
"You mentioned a price for the wishes.. what is the price?"
Meru drew close as she floated around him,
"Certain pleasures have an effect on the one who uses them or those upon which it is used.. the effects of your appetites can have far reaching consequences to yourself and others.."
The Thief replied,
"So you are saying I could really mess things up for this world or myself with my choices.."
She nodded as she crossed her arms.
"Usually no one asks me about the price.. their lusts make them start demanding a pleasure.. one in particular asked me do something most terrible.. he was a Gerudo or so I thought.. he used my power to get to Sacred Realm, to which my powers were curbed by the Goddesses, I cannot use a pleasure to enter there ever again."

Ekphra rubbing the back of his neck said,
"Well my ambitions arn't to invade heaven.. I am lowly thief trying to make a living."
Meru smiled,
"I can make it so you never need steal again.. give you all the hidden treasures of the world.."
Ekphra sighed,
"Then I would lose my purpose.. I enjoy treasure hunting and the risks."
She titled her head,
"Who are you Voe? Not many have the foresight to see they could wish away their purpose."
He responded to her,
"Ekphra is my name."
She replied,
"That is a great name."
He scoffed,
"It means damned in Hylian.. my Father did not want me, so he picked the worst name he could think of."
She smirked,
"To me the damned are beautiful.. I drink their tragedies and savor."
He eyed her,
"Do you intend to drink me?"
She batted her eyes,
"Oh yes my darling Rabbona!"
He squinting,
"What does that mean?"
She responded,
"It means Master.. for that is what you are till the pleasures are complete."
Taking the lamp he said,
"Very well.. for my first pleasure.. I want a stead that will never tire nor can be hurt."
She smirked and snapped her claw fingers,
"So be it!"
A Horse appeared of white skin and mane of bright gold with a matching tail, its eyes blue.
Getting up in the saddle, he said to her,
"What is the price for this pleasure?"
She smirked,
"You will know soon enough."

PART III: THE MEANNESS OF MELON

As Ekphra rode near Gerudo Town he noticed Meru begin to disappear back into the lamp, though he could hear her.
"I will be here, I do not think the locals will be able to accept what I am.."
The Thief came to the town, he took a scarf and covered his mouth, and wrapped his head as he came to the gate. There standing was guards who were inspecting oryx which someone was riding on, this was curious to Ekphra because usually there was many horses outside. Instead it was all oxen and camels. Stepping off his stead as he came to the gate, he whispered into the lamp, ]
"My second pleasure, I want these women to not know I am a Voe. I am tired of being thrown out of this oasis in the desert."
Some red light surrounded him that poured out of the lamp,
To test if it worked, he took off his scarf and turban to show himself, and the guards at the gate did not even budge, he waved his hand a little, and they just kept staring.
He entered the front gate, something he had never done before, the fountains were trickling and the palms swaying in wind, torches crackling.
"What if I use my third pleasure on you," he whispered to Meru.
She responded,
"Why would you do that?"
He said,
"So you are not forced to be confined inside that cramped lamp. For my third pleasure.."
She said to him,
"No.. do not waste them! No on me.."
Ekphra said,
"My third pleasure is you take a form that these Gerudo will accept so you can travel with me seen."
The Lamp shook a little, and coming out was a Young Women, with a long red hair that was in great big balls of braids that formed a pony tail. Standing there looking at her normal dark skinned arms and hands she then turned, her eyes only two and green.
"Why?! Why did you do that?!" protested Meru.
Ekphra said,
"I wanted you to enjoy being outside of that lamp as long as you can. I will try to now hold back on making pleasures."

Meru shouted,
"You have three left! You used one for me! That is not fair! By the laws I am suppose to give you another pleasure because it does not benefit you!"
The Thief sighed,
"No, it gives me pleasure to have your presence with me. No one else knows of our pact, and I feel lonelier than before."
Meru tilted her head,
"You mortals are strange indeed.. very well Master.. though do not again waste a pleasure for my benefit. Understand?"
He gave a nod as he saw a cart with a Gerudo selling Hydromelon.
"I would like two please."
The vendor took his rupees as he gave one to Meru.
"I do not need sustenance.."
Ekphra replied,
"Eat anyway.. its not good to eat alone, do it for my benefit."
He sat on the bench like half wall around fountain as he took a knife and carved her melon and then his, revealing the moist pink inside with a white ring.
He took a slice and began to chew, and made noises like groan, only happy. Meru imitating him took a bite of the fruit, and her eye grew large as she said,
"Mmmh.. this is good! This is what you mortals eat?!"
She took another bite, and then another.
The Voe said to his Vai,
"You have never tasted food before?"
She tilting her head,
"Eh.. only the sacrifices people use to place on my altar before it was destroyed and they were.. gross. I mean could they have at least cooked the goat?"
He began to laugh, spitting some seeds out of his mouth.
She noticed his chest was heaving and he was gasping as if out of breath but his face denoted pleasure.
"What are you doing?"
He turned,
"Laughing, do not tell me you have never laughed as long as you have been around."
She squinted,
"Most of what you would call laughter was what your people call gloating."
Ekphra turned,
"Then that shall be my quest, to help you discover how to laugh."
She shook her head,
"No.. this is about you remember."
He looking at her said,
"Is it? Why not as long as you are free of the lamp learn and taste everything? Why not enjoy the fruits of this world while you can?"
Meru sighed,
"I do not think it works that way. Besides, you still have three more pleasures and at rate you are using them this will all be over soon."
Ekphra decided to change the subject,
"You said there is price to pay for each pleasure.. my horse, I noticed there are no more horses at the gate of this village.. does that mean.."
Meru nodded solemnly,
"To create your perfect stead.. that never tires and cannot be hurt.. the world is robed of all other steads, they giving their strength to yours."
He lowered his head at the thought,
"No more horses in Hyrule plains.. what have I done.."
She placed her hand on his wrist,
"It was a fine choice.."
He looking her in her emerald eyes said,
"And what of the others? My camouflage here.. does that mean.."
She finished his words,
"They will also see you as Vai, a Gerudo Woman and so.,"
He finished her words,
"they will never chase me again.. the pleasure of being pursued like a fox in vineyard is over.. and I suppose unless they like women.. I can never be a husband right?"
Meru nodded,
"Aye, you shall never wed a Gerudo in the traditional manner."
That seemed to bother him less, and then he said,
"What of me asking for you to appear thus? Does that effect you in anyway?"
She nodded,
"Yes.. though I will not tell you how for now.. lets just enjoy some more of this.. melon."
She took a bite, he did too, his joyful demeanor was now sullen and grievous as he began to understand the cost of each pleasure, and that depending on how specific he was in his wish, it could have far reaching consequences...

PART IV: SPICE AND EVERYTHING NOT NICE (NEW)

The sun set and the Master and his Spirit had to spend the night in the village. Ekphra felt akward bringing it up,
"Uh.. perhaps it is best you go back into your lamp?"
They were inside a Tent of Burgundy, when Meru shifted her body back to her more horny form.
"What is a matter Master? Do you feel you are bait? That I will feed on you in the night?"
She was sticking out that grey and black tongue that made him unnerved as she said,
"I think I will sleep outside.."
She shot her hart shaped tip of her tail and grabbed him around the throat, and pulled him gently back.
"I thought you wanted pleasure?"
His eyes grew great as moon that now loomed over the village.
The Next Morning Ekphra came out of his tent stumbling a little bit. His top was remvoed and he had black lips all over his face and cheeks. He made his way to fountain, seeing his face in the water, he began to rub off the evidence. He was not sure if the Gerudo would understand, considering they saw him as a Vai thanks to his wish.
He came to a cart selling more Hydromelon and he made his way back to the tent, the tail with his carol red tip caught the melon as if a petal and pulled it inside.
"Are you coming in?"
Ekphra blushed,
"Uh.. I.. should see the horse."
She giggled,
"Do not be bashful.. come here. "
He entered the tent and she was floating, munching on the melon.
"There is no shame in this Master."
He wiped his head of fresh sweat and said,
"I am not sure what this is.. if you are spirit or flesh or something else.."
She held the large chunk of melon on his black clawed fingers like a crown.
"Does it matter? Long as you are pleased.."
He looking at her said,
"Did it please you?"
She tilted her head with a smirk, her fangs showing,
"Certainly! What an odd question. You never cease to amuse me Master. No one in an age has asked what I thought of.."
He held his hand up,
"That is enough.. we should probably head back to Hyrule."
She squinted with her four eyes that burned as hot embers,
"Ah.. you see that is not possible."
Ekphra replied,
"Oh? What do you mean by that?"
Meru sighed,
"There are markers at the edge of the Desert.. if I go beyond them.. well lets just say an abrupt return to the tomb of water for us both."
The Thief eyed her,
"You never mentioned this in rules you established."
She shrugged with her arms as she levitated,
"You never asked."
He responded,
"How can I inquire when.. oh I understand now.. you are a Demon!"
She scoffed,
"Do not use that word in my presence!"
Ekphra shouted,
"Demon!"
She growled and a great wind blew in the tent,
"Stop it! I am not a demon!"
He held up his fist,
"You seduced me.. you gave me wishes and the catch is until I use them I am stuck here! What is that other than damnation?!"
She grabbed him and lifted him up with her tail,
"You ungrateful man! I have given you everything you asked.. and more.. and now.. now.. sobs.. you call me the worst thing you could!"
She threw him into fabric of the tent and turned into twister of red smoke that went down into the lamp.
Ekphra got up and moved the tent poles off himself and the fabric of burgundy, and he found the lamp,
"Meru! Meru! I am sorry.. Meru!"
The Lamp was cold to the touch and there was no response.
